ABOUT US
We are Skoth and Skye.
Not a brand. Not a business concept. Just two people who've been called by those names since high school, making things together the way we always have — by hand, with intention, and without apology for the darker side of it.
Skoth came up trained in advertising design, with a print media background and a degree to show for it. But the work that's always mattered most is illustration — the kind of art that doesn't follow a brief, that comes from somewhere more personal than a client brief. Over time, that impulse spread into other mediums: wood, resin, paint, laser engraving. The experimentation never really stopped. It just became a shop.
Skye brings her hands to the bracelets and helps build out the jewelry. Every bead bracelet in this shop was strung by her. Every earring that comes together in layers — she had a part in that. Skoth and Skye is two people, and you can feel that in the work.
What we make lives at the intersection of gothic, macabre, and handcrafted. We're drawn to skulls and dark florals, to sugar skulls and skeleton couples, to the beauty that exists in mortality if you look at it right. We believe there's real art in darkness — not shock value, but something more honest. The things that fascinate us have weight to them.
Our customers are the people who understand that. The ones who find beauty in what most people look away from. The alternative souls, the goth-adjacent, the dark romantics, the collectors of weird and wonderful things. If you've ever felt more yourself in a cemetery than a shopping mall, you probably already know what we're making and why.
Everything here is made by hand, in small batches, by two people. No factory. No dropshipping. No mass production. Just us, the tools, and whatever we're obsessing over this week.
Welcome to Skoth and Skye. We're glad the dark brought you here.
